Timothy P. Atkinson

Tim serves as an advisor and the Chief Compliance Officer at TFG Advisors. Tim joined TFG in 2015 where his responsibilities include advising clients, investment research, portfolio design, and managing retirement plans. Tim’s investment career spans 27 years, the last 24 years as a Registered Investment Advisor. Tim understands the role of a fiduciary, always putting the needs of our clients first.
A lifelong resident of Michigan, Tim is a graduate of Hope College where he earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration with an Economics concentration. He also received an M.S. degree in Finance from Walsh College, graduating with honors.
Tim is an active member of his Parish where he is a lector and member of the contemporary choir. His passion is spending time with his wife and keeping up with the demands of an active household. Tim enjoys sports and is an active long-distance runner having competed in a dozen half marathons, 10k and 5k races.
